Dr Alan Zhu grew up in Sydney. Having attended school and university there, he moved to Brisbane several years ago and has been enjoying our sunny weather ever since!

Dr Alan has taken the huge step of undertaking further studies to become a specialist Periodontist, which he is currently well underway.

As a member of the Ivy Dental team, Dr Alan’s days at the clinic are spent doing deep cleans, placing implants and taking the time to go through treatment thoroughly with everyone that has the pleasure to be booked in with him.

You’ll easily recognise his patient manner and devotion to oral health, with him devoting extra care and time to go through the best ways to take care of your teeth in the breaks between your trips to Ivy Dental!

In his (small) breaks between studying and being at Ivy Dental, Dr Alan helps teach dental students at the University of Queensland and is committed to taking care of his own health and fitness.
