Dr Candy Fung has been a dentist for over ten years, working in the public system, alongside multiple private practices throughout the course of her career.

Dr Candy has a keen interest in paediatric (kids) dentistry – she’s got a super relaxing manner and is fantastic at explaining, showing and performing dental treatment in a gentle way. She builds up a rapport with her younger clientele extremely quickly and most of them are surprised at the speed and painlessness of the treatment provided.

She was tossing up whether to specialise in paediatric or special needs dentistry and special needs (narrowly) won out – she is currently studying this now and will graduate as one of the only special needs dentists in Queensland, filling a super important role in hospitals around Australia.

When she’s not working at Ivy Dental, Dr Candy enjoys spending time with her family and catching up on some much-needed rest and relaxation!
