As a very popular Dentist, Dr Dee-Ann Culverhouse is a beloved part of the Ivy Dental team. Affectionately known as “Dr Dee” to her patients and team, she has a cheery and down-to-earth nature that puts patients at ease.

Dr Culverhouse is passionate about dentistry and her expertise stems from a diverse history in the field. Beginning her career in Practice Management and working with reputable dental suppliers, Dr Dee turned her focus to Oral Health. Consequently, she commenced studies in Oral Health Therapy at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

Most noteworthy, Dr Dee won the Dean’s Award in Oral Health Therapy studies. Following this, Dr Culverhouse wanted to take the next step and commenced dentistry study at Charles Sturt University. Never one to be satisfied with mediocrity, Dr Culverhouse won the Pierre Fauchard award for student excellence. In addition, Dr Dee was known for her helpful and encouraging nature among peers.

Adding to her growing list of unique experiences, Dr Dee-Ann Culverhouse worked with the Royal Flying Doctors Service in NSW. During this time, she was challenged to help patients in emergency situations at remote locations, whilst weathering all types of conditions. Because of this experience, her easy-going nature and relaxed attitude were developed. Because of these positive traits, her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental treatment.
