Common questions

Questions before you book.

You do not need to diagnose the problem yourself. If you are unsure, book a check-up or call and we'll help you choose.

How often should I have a dental check-up?
Many people attend about every six months, while others may benefit from a different interval. Your dentist will recommend a schedule based on your oral health, risk factors and treatment history.
What is included in a check-up?
A check-up includes an examination of your teeth, gums, bite and oral soft tissues. A professional clean and X-rays may be included when clinically appropriate. We explain the findings and provide a written plan and quote if treatment is recommended.
How much will my appointment cost?
A check-up and clean starts from $250. Other fees depend on the appointment, tooth and treatment required. See the indicative price guide; we provide a written quote before planned treatment begins.
Do you accept health funds?
Yes. We accept all major Australian health funds and can process eligible claims through HICAPS. Your rebate and out-of-pocket amount depend on your policy. View health fund details.
What if I have not been to a dentist in years?
A check-up is a good place to begin. There is no judgement. We start with where things are now, explain the priorities and help you decide what happens next.
Do you treat children and accept CDBS?
Yes. We welcome children from their first tooth. Eligible children aged 0 to 17 may receive up to $1,158 over two calendar years through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Eligibility, covered items and available balance apply.
What if I have tooth pain, swelling or a broken tooth?
Book an emergency appointment online at any time, including after hours. During opening hours, you can also call and our team will help you choose the right appointment.
