Dental Care From Kenmore: Ivy Dental Access Guide

How Kenmore patients can access Ivy Dental now, what the forthcoming Indooroopilly clinic means, routes, costs, and appointment planning.

5 min readReviewed Mar 2026

Kenmore is one of Brisbane's western suburbs that families choose deliberately. Good schools, quiet streets, easy access to the Brisbane River corridor, and a community that values quality over convenience.

This page is an access guide for Kenmore patients. It covers current Ivy clinic options, the planned Ivy Dental Indooroopilly clinic, and how to plan an appointment from Brisbane's western suburbs. If you are comparing what to look for in a family dental practice, read our separate family dentist Indooroopilly guide.

Ivy Dental Indooroopilly: coming to Brisbane's west

Ivy Dental Indooroopilly is opening soon, close to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and well-connected to Kenmore, Kenmore Hills, Chapel Hill, Fig Tree Pocket, and the broader western suburbs.

The new practice is being planned around Ivy's shared systems, documented protocols, digital records, and team-based approach. Final service availability will be confirmed closer to opening.

For Kenmore families, Indooroopilly will be the most convenient Ivy location. Moggill Road provides a direct route, and the drive will take 5 to 7 minutes from central Kenmore.

Register interest. If you want to be notified when booking opens at Indooroopilly, call (07) 3266 7120 or contact us through our website.

In the meantime: existing Ivy locations

Until Indooroopilly opens, Kenmore residents can access Ivy Dental at Everton Park or Nundah:

Ivy Dental Everton Park. Accessible via the Western Freeway and South Pine Road. Free on-site parking. Open seven days, with emergency appointments bookable online at any time. Timing depends on clinical urgency and clinic capacity.

Ivy Dental Nundah. Accessible via the Inner City Bypass or Gympie Road. Free on-site parking.

Ivy clinics share the same systems. Your records, X-rays, and treatment history are accessible across the practice. If you start at Everton Park or Nundah and later attend Indooroopilly after it opens, those records can follow you.

Planning appointments from Kenmore

Kenmore has a large population of families with young children and teenagers. Managing dental care for multiple family members across different practices and referral networks takes time that most parents do not have.

For children's dentistry, current Ivy services include:

  • First dental visits from age one
  • Fissure sealants for newly erupted permanent molars
  • Fluoride treatments
  • Oral hygiene and dietary guidance tailored by age
  • Early orthodontic assessments to identify developing alignment or bite concerns
  • Sports mouthguard fitting

CDBS for Kenmore families. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule provides up to $1,158 over two consecutive calendar years for eligible children aged 0 to 17. At Ivy Dental, CDBS-covered items are bulk billed at $0 out of pocket while the remaining Medicare balance covers the planned treatment. Our CDBS guide explains eligibility and what is covered.

For parents, general dentistry covers check-ups, preventive care, fillings, crowns, root canal treatment, and other routine restorative care. If several family members need appointments, ask reception whether visits can be grouped on the same day.
